I have Build/confirm on my right paddle, edit/reset AND interact with my left paddle. The placement is also weird but not detrimental. The StrikeMax software is written to be used exclusively with the Original Xbox One StrikePack only. 100% would recommend Strike Pack's to anyone wanting to try paddles or looking for a cheaper alternative. Technically my instant edit is on my down d pad button so I assigned my paddle to that. I'd take this over a scuf any day though. So I got it from gamestop and it's decent. Also, I bought the alternative paddles for my PS4 Strike pack off their website and I like them a lot more than the standard ones. Little tip: you can actually bind two buttons to one paddle with the strike pack. Compared to a scuf the paddles are definitely not as good.
